Name: Latosha Lovell Rating: 5 Review: I recently visited Burke Williams Pasadena and had a very relaxing and Zen-like experience. Although the young lady at the front desk was servicing another client as I entered the lobby, she acknowledged my presence and kindly asked me to wait. I appreciate those small, yet not-so-small details. I received a Pure Relaxation Massage by JOANA who was AWESOME; one of the best massages I’ve had in awhile. The facilities (lounge, women’s spa and quiet room) were very clean and beautifully appointed. I found the support team to be well-staffed, attentive and friendly. This time, I just got a Pure Relaxation massage with the Therapist JENNIFER and it was simply PERFECT. 💯 🌿 Perfect level of pressure as I asked, relaxing and very professional. Name: Kate Hawk Rating: 5 Review: This was my first time at a Burke Williams spa and it was so enjoyable. I was greeted by Lizbeth (Lisbeth?) who was so helpful and walked me through the whole spa explaining how everything worked. I then had an 80 minute massage with Melodie who is fantastic and SO SKILLED. She was able to customize the massage for me and really just took the time to tune into my body. Her massage was incredibly healing and didn’t feel rushed which I really appreciate. I had a great time using the facilities before and after my treatment. Honestly, such a relaxing day and so worth it. The staff rocks! Will be back the next time I’m in town . Date: 3 months ago
Name: Sevan Aratounians Rating: 1 Review: I had an appointment today. For the second time in a two, my massage therapist cancelled, which is not great but happens. I got a message in the morning that if I wanted a different therapist one would be available. I was not interested. Then at my appointment time, a manager called and asked why I did not show up. He was rude and not apologetic that they had to cancel because my therapist did not show up. Things come up and changes happen. However, I expect a higher level of service when things do come up that adversely impacts a customer, especially when it’s happened more than once. The manager could have been more sympathetic (I scheduled my work around this appointment) and could have done something to make me the situation better (for example a discount or a trial membership – which I was considering before this happened). Name: Emily Vasquez Rating: 1 Review: Well I’ll start with I’m a beautiful black woman and it’s 2025 color isn’t even a thing anymore but here at this location it sure felt like it. I told the host when I arrived it was my first time she didn’t show me around just walked me straight to the locker and left me there. It’s really sad because shortly after I walked to the lounge and I noticed a white woman being shown around. I travel to Santa Monica location Everytime and it’s such a wonderful experience everyone is so nice and welcoming Pasadena location is not even close no one spoke to me to and I was waiting for my specialist past my appointment time my 90min facial stated at 10:30 no one has even said sorry we are running late never will I return to this location in my life and if you are of color I don’t recommend you going either.
