Review: This is the type of “day spa” I have been looking for in Los Angeles! The staff is friendly and inviting. To sum this up, massages and facials are amazing but I would skip the mani-pedi. This place would be perfect for a spa day with a girlfriend or significant other too. I am so happy I found her! I won’t be going anywhere else.

Review: NO LONGER IN THE BASEMENT!!
The spa is now located inside on the 3rd floor which you can access via the blue elevator!

Cecilia was working reception and she was so friendly and helpful! I hadn’t been to this spa before so I didn’t know what to expect but everyone was so kind and accommodating.

I got the 25 Minute Lymphatic Massage from Sarai [Sah-rye-ee] and she is FANTASTIC! I have been to another place in the area that was also great, but in only 25 minutes she made me the most relaxed I have ever been. Genuine magic I am convinced!

The steam room is also very nice, there was nobody else there when I went, so I got to hang out and unwind. Everything was very clean and comfortable- and if I were to critique anything (this is it) it would be the robes are a very strange texture lol.

[FINANCIAL NOTE: If you are a girl on a budget like myself- the $10 parking validation for the valet brings it down to (for me) $37. Maaaaybe consider one of the $12 garages nearby! (Oops.)

Review: This spa is inside the Westin, though it’s not affiliated with the hotel. The space is dated and could use an update. It was very clean, both inside the common spaces and in the treatment room.

I booked a package with four treatments and left a deposit totaling $342.

Kristy, my massage therapist, suggested changes based on my problems areas and she said would likely cost less or the same. I agreed as long as the price didn’t increase.

Kristy’s massage was fantastic—she’s truly exceptional and the best part of my visit!!

However, at checkout, I was charged $42 more without a clear explanation, and the credit card machine wasn’t working, which added to the frustration but not in anyone’s control. I did not agree to a $42 price increase, but didn’t feel up for debating it after spending time in a spa to relax.

Without Kristy, this would’ve been a two-star experience.

Entrance tip : do not follow the address which says it is located on Figueroa Avenue. The only folks who can access that entrance are those staying at the Westin with room key access. The entrance is on Flower. Once you enter on flower, the stairs or elevator can take you to 3 where the spa is located.

Review: First timer.
I really loved my Swedish massage. My masseuse was Kathy, she was kind, asked if I was comfortable during the massage. I wish to spend like another hour in there. The amenities are great !!! They have sauna too available when you reserve a service. Also, the hotel where the local is located is beautiful. I would definitely try to come back. All the staff was friendly since reception, cleaning staff, everyone.

Review: I had a grand experience at Desuar DTLA Spa. I’ve been to this establishment before when they were at their other location and the service continues to be top tier. From the time I walked in, to the time I left, the staff was extremely helpful and dedicated to ensuring that their client (me) had a great experience. I also love that the new location feels bigger, and they have a steam room and sauna in the men’s bathroom now which is lovely!

Also my masseuse was fantastic and was much appreciated given my body fatigue from working out. I’ll definitely be making this a monthly thing for my body recovery.
