Review: Horrible experience. I went into town to get my nails done before a photo shoot. Passing by I decided to stop at this salon to get a full set and pedicure. The pedicure was ok but they left all my heel calluses. The older .man tech did not scrub for more than 2 mins each foot maybe less. The color does not match the nail book at all, I wanted a pale pink but looks like pepto bismol. As for my nails; the young male nail tech was debating me getting what I describe as press on acrylics. I wanted regular length ballerina and he looked like he didn’t understood and was asking if I wanted almond (which is completely different design) I showed him a photo of basic pink nails nothing special (photo added) to give him an idea. He chose acrylic nails that were not symmetrical to my other hand and then when I asked if he could trim them down because they were really long he trimmed but kept sighing when I would ask to trim more, that I just gave up asking after twice. Later when he was putting on acrylic powder he put a clear acrylic on one nail to which I asked if he was going to apply a gel coat but I wanted a pink acrylic powder and by now he seemed annoyed. He messed up the acrylic in my nails leaving it extremely lumpy and uneven. A girl (Mia) had to take over and he looked like he was learning how to apply! Long story short it took over 3 hours to be done from all the filing down he had to keep doing. I was absolutely unsatisfied and they had the audacity to charge extra for the shape (ballerina) which I didn’t even really receive! The nail shape is more square. I added photos I kid you not this is only 1 week and half after the appointment. I won’t ever go back and definitely wouldn’t recommend. If the young male nail tech is not experienced they should let people know! I’m embarrassed by the look of my nails they look like dead skin 😞
