Located in the beautiful Presidio in a historic former army building, SenSpa received a preservation award in 2006. 13,000 square feet of relaxation lounges, locker rooms and treatment rooms. We focus on therapeutic services to help restore the body to wellness and bring relaxation to the mind.

Review: This place is magical. So everyone needs to know about Sarah because she gives a REAL facial. Every pore feels refreshed and I swear almost every other facial feels like a disappointment. The world needs to know about Sarah… but obviously she still needs to have time for my face!

Review: This place is amazing! This has been my best spa experience so far. Maki’s deep tissue, dry brushing, and feet scrub were very relaxing. Meeting Sarah was absolutely wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and made great suggestions that I can’t wait to try. I will be back soon!

Review: Unfortunately did not have a great experience. I arrived only a few minutes before my 50 min massage appt, but was not given time to change into a robe. I was supposed to have a certain masseuse and then was handed off to someone else without an explanation. The masseuse I had was clearly on her phone various times during the massage and didn’t seem present (was using one hand, not really doing anything to my leg/foot/etc at various times). She then ended 10 min early after we started a few min late. I asked for the bathroom/lounge after and she kept trying to take me to the front desk so I said goodbye. I was really needing and looking forward to a relaxing experience and sadly I was disappointed. It’s too much $ for a massage at this spa to be treated this way. If they’re understaffed/overbooked I’d expect them to fix that issue for how much they charge.

Review: A very professional, Zen, gorgeous space in the Presidio. The staff and facilities are top-notch. The services provided were very well done and very happy with the massage and the facial. My wife was sad to leave. This would be one of the more expensive spa treatments I’ve had, but considering the city and the location, it’s par for the course. Definitely recommend and would do it regularly if I lived here. Thank you, David Spencer for the vision and the execution.

Review: I received a gift certificate to this lovely spa. I was not familiar with the spa prior to receiving the gift, and it was such a pleasant surprise when I made my visit! The spa is very spacious, especially for being located in an urban setting. There is a cafe area with a separate room that can be booked as a private gathering space if a group is getting services together, a large gift shop with wonderful spa products for sale, a comfortable seating area for quiet conversations, a serene room with a fireplace and fountain for quiet mediation or lounging, and another smaller area for same. The locker area is generous in size with good facilities and products. My treatment was perfect, and my masseuse was attentive and focused on my needs.
