Review: I was here the other day, I really liked the spa! It’s very big, there’s a pool and a jacuzzi. It’s quiet, calm and most importantly clean! I really liked the room with Himalayan salt! The food is a separate 5 stars, it was very tasty and I really liked the green juice, what you need in a spa! Very friendly staff

Review: I want to start by saying this is a 5 Star Pl. however when I visited yesterday, amen had somehow gotten into the spa without going through the front door and dripped off on a woman in a sleeping room. The staff kept me quiet and the police were not called and I was very disappointed about this. I’ve been attending this far for many many years and I’ve never had a problem, but just the fact that they did not call the police and report this as they should is a problem.

Review: I visited Spa Palace on May 3, 2025, and had a disappointing experience with the front desk. After my belongings were quietly moved by staff without notice, I asked for help and was met with cold deflection and denial. The staff insisted “we don’t move guests’ items,” even though my clothes were found folded and relocated.
They later responded to my letter noting their behavior: They accused me of taking my own clothing out of the locker, folding it, and then placing it under the sink. They went on to claim I made racial and ethnic remarks while complaining.
I used a translator in case management was ESL, but even that wasn’t racist or demeaning. I wanted them to understand the lack of assistance while distressed.
Worse, the same staff told other guests that pajamas were no longer provided—while I was literally wearing Spa-issued pajamas from the night shift. I submitted a respectful written complaint, only to be accused of exaggeration and even hinted at making discriminatory remarks, which I absolutely did not.
The spa’s response lacked accountability or empathy. I can no longer recommend this place in good faith. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

Review: For the price of admission $35 not a bad spa. Please don’t purchase a gift card online thinking you can gift that. You can’t. The front desk attendant also has little knowledge when it comes to actually using a gift card purchased online. The robes and towels smell like they are older and can definitely be updated! They don’t offer free spa shoes but they do sell them. The food is pretty good and they offer a couple of vegan options. Personally I love the Himalayan salt room on the women’s side. It’s tucked away and always empty-very relaxing. There is free parking which is a plus because it’s located downtown. There are massage chairs that only take cash. Bring $10 cash, sandals, and something to wear in the co-Ed section you’re all set for a relaxing time!

Review: Was very excited to try a new spa as I frequent ISpa in Irvine often so I had to commute from OC. First impressions were good it seemed luxurious and clean, strange they asked for ID but thought nothing of it. I was given a towel, bathrobe, toothbrush, and razor however no uniform for the communal area was given which was odd. Upon reaching the locker room area I noticed people wore their shoes/sandals indoor and felt it was very unhygienic for a spa so I kept my socks on except for the bathing area which felt gross. After bathing I went to soaking tubs (hot, warm, & cold) which were literally small jacuzzi pools like you can find outside near pools and they smelled strongly of chlorine. The bathing area was empty yet underwhelming so I tried the saunas in the communal area and I felt very uncomfortable being in a bathrobe around men in their own bathrobes or normal outside clothes. I was hungry so I went to their very small food court to find it unattended until an employee came; I ordered ramen and to my surprise when I received my meal I realized it was your common maruchan just placed in a bowl and topped with green onion and upcharged to $8. As I left I was asked by the employee if I enjoyed my visit to which I said I hated it and would not come again. Very disappointing and underwhelming I left more tired than when I entered, I will never waste my money nor time here again nor recommend it to anyone unless they are homeless and want to shower and eat something very simple yet expensive. I wish I could have gotten a refund.
Response to the owners review-
Thank you for your response. I understand that different spas have different policies and traditions, but my concerns were more about the overall cleanliness, atmosphere, and value for the price. Hygiene is a major factor in any spa experience, and seeing shoes worn indoors, along with the strong chlorine smell in the tubs, made it feel less like a relaxing retreat and more like a gym locker room.
As for the food, I wasn’t expecting gourmet dining, but serving instant ramen for $8 without even attempting to elevate it felt disappointing. I wish these things were communicated more clearly beforehand so I could have made a more informed decision about visiting.
I appreciate the response, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling more stressed than relaxed. I hope this feedback helps improve transparency for future guests.
