Review: Lovely spa area. Simple and beautiful. Very clean. Had a great massage with Kirsten. Addressed all my kinks in the body efficiently. Glad to spend relaxing time at the spa in rainy weather in Calistoga. Staff was attentive. The heated mineral pools were great even in the rain.

Review: Like many other reviews state, overpriced for sub-par service. Nice enough but sadly not what it used to be, and if I were Auberge I would not want my name on this experience.
The facilities are tired; broken shower controls, no water pressure, steam rooms out of order, many lockers broken.
All afternoon nobody manned the bar, and the high school girls who “attend” to the pool (if you can call it that) are pretty useless, particularly since half the menu is not available since they are out of stock. Then again, who really wants three types of pop chips for $5 anyway?
Overall fine if experience if “tired Marriott” is your style.

Review: I don’t have many photos because they encouraged a device free area. I went for the mud experience and I thought that it was very unique. It’s a 3 step process where you start with putting mud on yourself (and your partner), then sitting in a warm bath of mineral water with bath salts, and then relaxing on an anti gravity chair. I totally recommend it, the spa is beautiful, great smelling, simple, and clean. If you decide to purchase the day pass, if you are not staying at the resort, you have access to 5 different pools of different temperatures and mineral content. We ate at the pool bar for lunch and the resort restaurant for dinner. It was a great time.

Review: I treated my mom and my sister with the ultimate renewal package (total $685 per person for mud slide, signature massage, signature face). Based on their experience, it didn’t seem to be highly worth the price. They mentioned that body massage was the best and the rest weren’t as great, especially the mudslide was the most disappointing one.
1. Mudslide was highly over priced ($200) for what it is. They were just given a small amount of mud pack to put on their skin by themselves and spend some time. Then they were given some salt, again to put on by themselves. Do not recommend.
2. Signature body massage ($235) was good. My sister and mom liked it the most.
3. Signature facial massage ($250) was okay. They had better facials from other places before at cheaper price and it was nothing extraordinary.
If I had an option, I would give 3.5 stars. Maybe it’s still worth visiting for the entire experience with the sauna and thermal pools, but I won’t try their mudslide.
